What is Shamanism?

Shamanism is one of the world’s oldest spiritual and healing traditions, found in cultures across the globe. It is based on the understanding that everything in existence carries spirit and energy — people, animals, plants, the elements, and the Earth herself.

A shamanic practitioner works in partnership with Spirit and nature to restore balance, harmony, and wellbeing. Through journeying, ceremony, and deep connection, the practitioner brings healing and guidance from the unseen realms into the physical world.

Shamanism is not a religion; it is a way of life — a path of living in balance with nature and remembering our connection to the sacred web of life.

What is Shamanic Healing?

Shamanic Healing is an ancient form of energy medicine that works on the spiritual level to clear, restore, and rebalance your energy field.

When we experience trauma, stress, grief, or disconnection, parts of our energy can become blocked or lost. Shamanic Healing helps to release stagnant energy, call back lost parts of the soul, and bring harmony to body, mind, and spirit.

Every session is completely unique and guided by Spirit. Before any healing, I always begin with an Analysis (Assessment) Journey to discover what type of healing is most needed at this time.

The Healing Process

Before your first session, I carry out an Analysis Healing — a short journey to the spirit world where I meet with my guides at the Cedar Tree and ask what healing is most needed for you.

Once I receive this guidance, I’ll share it with you, explain what the healing involves, and then carry it out either in person, via Zoom, or as a distance healing where I journey on your behalf.

Every healing is sacred, guided, and done with love and respect for your journey.

Ceremonies, Packages, and Ongoing Work

Healing is a journey — not a single event. Many clients choose to continue with a series of healings or ceremonies to allow deeper integration and lasting transformation.

You may wish to combine:

  • A series of different healings (for example, Soul Retrieval, Ancestral, and Empowerment work)
  • Fire Ceremonies and Rituals for release and renewal
  • Guided journeys to meet your Power Animal or Spirit Guides
  • Moon and seasonal ceremonies for grounding and flow
